What we do
The Section of Gynaecology within the Division of Endocrinology offers a complete range of services for the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with gynaecologic disorders including:
- Abnormal Puberty
- Adolescent Sexual Health, Contraception & Adolescent Pregnancy
- Chronic Annovulation
- Disorders of the Vulva, Vagina and Cervix
- Fertility Preservation
- Foreign Body (Vaginal)
- Genital Mutilation
- Genital Trauma
- Gynaecological Congenital Anomalies
- Menstrual Disorders
- Pelvic Masses
- Pelvic Pain
- Reproductive Endocrinology
- Suspected Sexual Abuse
Our team consists of six part-time gynaecologists, a gynaecology nurse, dietitian, and a social worker.
Education and learning
Fellowship program
The Section of Gynaecology offers a two-year funded fellowship in the clinical area of expertise of Pediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology. Candidates must be board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (or equivalent). We are currently accepting applications for our 2027-intake, please note the application deadline is June 30, 2026.

Elective program
We accept a range of learners who may participate in electives throughout the year.

Observership program
If interested in observership opportunities, please feel free to reach out directly to pag.education@sickkids.ca. At this time, we currently only accept observership inquiries from practicing healthcare physicians or those currently enrolled in a residency program.
